Guidelines for Applications:
Whilst you can lodge your application at any time, we only carry out assessment of applications at our quarterly meetings. These are held in March, June, September and December. To have your application to be considered at the next available quarterly meeting, please submit it no later than the 1st of February, May, August or November (respectively).
We log your application when we receive it and email an acknowledgement to you within 7 days. We will also inform you of the date of meeting when your application will be considered. This is subject to your application meeting with our basic funding themes and criteria.
If your application does not meet our funding criteria, we will advise you within 14 days of receipt of your application.
If your application does meet basic funding requirements you will be notified of our decision (whether or not to provide you with funding) within 28 days of the relevant quarterly meeting. In most cases we will be able to provide you with feedback in respect of any application that meets basic requirements but is unsuccessful.
We have tried to provide clear information on this website and whilst we know that there may be changes required after submission of your application, should we need to clarify matters with you we will do so as soon after you have submitted your application as possible. Such clarification will not (of itself) affect the outcome of your application.
Whether successful or unsuccessful we ask you not to submit a fresh application for funding within 12 months from the date of our decision (on your latest application). So if we issue a decision on say 1 January 2017 please do not apply earlier than 1 January 2018.
